KEMPER COUNTY A Fall Craft Fair will be held Oct. 5-6 in the Family Life Center of Cleveland Charge United Methodist Church. Times are from 8 a.m.-6 p.m., Oct. 5 and from 8 a.m.-5 pm., Oct. 6.
The fair will feature a variety of crafts, wood items, lamps, quilt racks, shelves, bird houses, pie safes, crocheted and cross-stitched items, pillows, handmade ornaments and country crafts for all seasons, baked goods and canned foods. A concession stand will be open both days.
The church is adjacent to Big Oak United Methodist Church on Old Jackson Road, between state roads 493 and 495.

STONEWALL A fall bazaar will be held Oct. 6, from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. at Stonewall United Methodist Church.
Arts, crafts and household items will be featured, as well as quilt and TV giveaways. Hamburgers and beverages will be sold.
All proceeds will go toward the church building fund.
A fall festival will be held Oct. 6, from 7 a.m.-2 p.m. at Oakland Heights United Methodist Church.
The day will feature a rummage sale, baked goods and crafts. A pre-sale will be held Oct. 5, from 4 p.m.-6 p.m.
Barbecue chicken plates will be sold for $5 each; free delivery on five or more plates.
QUITMAN Shady Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church will host its 92nd Annual Campmeeting Services Oct. 5-12.
Guest speakers will be the Rev. Danny Bishop of Jackson, Oct. 5-7, and the Rev. Bob Eli of Oklahoma City, Okla., Oct. 8-9. Morning services will begin at 10:30 a.m. each day, except Sunday, when services will begin at 10 a.m. Services will begin at 7:15 p.m. each evening, except on Oct. 7, when services will begin at 6 p.m.

A Gospel Quartet Jamboree Contest will be held Oct. 6, from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. at First Apostolic Church of West Meridian.
Competition is open to male and female quartet groups. Registration is $50. Prizes are: $200, first place; $125, second place; and $75, third place.
General admission is $5; the coupon may be used to purchase refreshments on the church grounds on the day of the event.

A miracle healing and deliverance service will be held Oct. 7 at 3 p.m. at New Christian Faith Ministries. The Rev. Ed Casey of Mobile, Ala., will be guest speaker.

PORTERVILLE Keys Chapel United Methodist Church's annual Harvest Day Celebration will be held Oct. 7.
Sunday school will begin at 10 a.m., followed by worship service at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Charles Wash as speaker. An old-fashioned dinner will be served on the church grounds after the morning services.
UNION The Fourth Annual Newton County Cluster Songfest will be held Oct. 7 at 6 p.m. at Sylvester United Methodist Church.
The evening will feature special song presentations and congregational singing, followed by a time of fellowship after the service. Choirs and singers of the Newton County Cluster United Methodist Church will be featured.
WEST POINT The Northside Christian Church will host the Fourth Pastoral Anniversary Celebration of the Rev. Orlando R. Richmond Sr. on Oct. 7 at 3 p.m.
The Rev. Eddie Longstreet and St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church will be the guest church family. A time of fellowship will be held after the service at the Bryan UFCW Union Hall.
Fall Revival will be held Oct. 8-12 at 7:30 p.m. at Calvary Hill Baptist Church, with the Rev. J.T. McKenzie as guest speaker.
Homecoming services will be held the following Sunday at 2 p.m.
Tofu Tasting Classes will be held Oct. 8, 15 and 22 at North Hills Christian School Gym. The sessions are sponsored by First Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
Scheduled from 6 p.m.-8 p.m., each session will feature a complete meal served, tofu dish preparation demonstrations, information on the nutritional value of tofu as well as the latest research on prevention of heart disease and cancer. During the presentation, Denson will share the music and message from his latest recording "From This Day On."
Tickets are $10, general admission. One hundred Gold Artist tickets are available for $25 each. This entitles the holder a private session with Denson before the concert, plus priority seating.

NEWTON The Dixie Echoes of Pensacola Florida will present a concert Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. at First Methodist Protestant Church of Newton The Dixie Echoes has appeared on such television programs as "The Gospel Singing Jubilee," TBN, "Sing Out, America" and Gospel Music Television. A love offering will be taken.
The church is located at 8381 Highway 80 West in Newton.
CHUNKY Chunky Baptist Church will celebrate their 36th annual Homecoming Day on Oct. 21.
Sunday school will begin at 9:45 a.m., with worship service at 11 a.m. The Rev. Charles Evans, author of "All About Heaven" and "The Joy of Christian Living" will be guest speaker.
Following the worship service, lunch will be served in the family life building. The afternoon program will feature the Rowzees and the Lockey Sisters.
QUITMAN The Holy Spiritualaires of Laurel will be in concert Nov. 25 at 2 p.m. at Mt. Nebo AME Church.
