Amanda Ferrera and Brian Davison, both of Houston, Texas, were married Saturday, Sept. 15, 2001, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Houston, with Deacon Larry Vaclavik officiating.
Parents of the couple are Robert and Pamela Hines of Meridian, and Duan and Ann Ferrera of Houston.
Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Duval Ferrera and Mr. and Mrs. William Dudley III, all of New Orleans.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Richard Abner of Dallas, and Mr. and Mrs. Peter Carmouche of San Saba, Texas.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Avalon Music.
The bride was given in marriage by her stepfather. She wore a beaded strapless gown with a bodice of silk brocade and silk satin. The gown was enhanced with a full skirt and chapel-length veil.
Maid of honor was Julie Long of Houston. Other attendants were Holly Durst of San Antonio, Rachael Shelton of Dallas, Amy McMullen of Garland, Texas, and Shannan Kane of Pensacola, Fla.
Sara Ray and Claire Pugh, both of Dallas, were flower girls.
Trey Warren of Durham, N.C., served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Trey Warren of Durham, Jason Kriendler, Michael Sheedy, Todd Grabbe and Gregory Wilson, all of Houston.
Christian Dudley and Hudson Dudley, both of New Orleans, were ring bearers.
Program attendants were Jessica Dudley and Rene Shelton.
A reception was held at Rockefeller Hall following the ceremony. Assisting at the reception was Dana Bryant.
After a honeymoon in Aruba, the couple resides in Houston.
