PHILADELPHIA Services for Pearline B. Galloway will be held today at 1 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Mike Truhett and James Young officiating. Burial will be in Cedarlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Galloway, 77, of Philadelphia, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2001, at Neshoba County Nursing Home. She was a homemaker, a native of Neshoba County and a longtime resident of the House Community. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Earline McCool of Ethel, Shelby Smith of Union, Kate Munn of Little Rock and Charlotte Agent of Columbus; two sons, W.E. Hicks of Meridian and Dwight Hicks of Philadelphia; 19 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a brother, Walter B. Branning of Pascagoula.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Choice E. Hicks, in 1956 and Wendell V. Galloway in 1994 and a granddaughter, Lorie Hicks.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Hicks, Bill Hicks, Bob Smith, Johnny Sullivan, Chris Agent and Kyle Agent.
ALLIE V. COALSON LAND

PHILADELPHIA Services for Allie V. Coalson Land will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at McClain Hays Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Clarks Chapel Cemetery in Kemper County.
Mrs. Land, 91, of Kenner, La., died Friday, Oct. 12, 2001, at Chateau Living Center in Kenner. She was a graduate of Mississippi Southern College and a retired elementary school teacher from the Mississippi and St. Tammany Parish School Systems. She was a member of the Eastern Star, First Baptist Church of Slidell, La., and the St. Tammany Retired Teachers' Association.
Survivors include three daughters, Justina Pearson of Metairie, La., Bettie Bienvenu of Franklinton, La., and Carolyn Tullos and her husband, Gil, of Houston, Texas; six grandchildren, Teresa Dabdoub and Jeanne Bienvenu, both of Slidell, La., Beth Pearson Sillers of Pensacola, Fla., RaDonna Frazier of Hattiesburg, Nimi Bienvenu of Hammond, La., and Amy Frederick of Raceland, La.; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, C.P. Land Sr.; a son, C.P. Land Jr.; and a grandson, James Terrell III.
Visitation will be held today from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Linda Lundy Posey will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Russell Baptist Church with the Revs. Clay Chancelor, John Jacob and Tommy Brill officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Posey, 49, of Meridian, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2001, at Heartfelt Hospice. She was a secretary for Burns &Burns Oil Company and an active member of Russell Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Ricky Posey Sr., of Meridian; a daughter, Stephanie Leach, and her husband, Jay, of Meridian; a son, Michael Posey and his wife, Robin, of Meridian; three grandchildren, Jeremy Leach, Linda Abigail Leach and Trey Posey; three sisters, Jeannie Jones and her husband, Jerald, of Fairhope, Ala., Debbie McMinn and her husband, Junior and Angela Colburn and her husband, Michael, all of Meridian; a brother, Jamie Lundy and his wife, Wendy, of Meridian; and several special nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Lundy and Niley Lundy Norris.
Pallbearers will be C.L. Wilson, Ronnie Wells, Delmer Posey, Chris Brown, Wade Lindemann and Henry Yeager Sr.
Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Anthony, James Canterbury and Bud Harper.
The family requests memorials be made to the Russell Baptist Church Fund.
Visitation will be held today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Graveside services for Lillie M. Ethridge will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Causeyville Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Jack Giles officiating. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Ethridge, 93, of Meridian, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2001, at her home. She was retired from the Burnley Shirt Factory.
Survivors include a son, Robert Wayne Ethridge and his wife, Marie, of Pachuta; a daughter, Mary Virginia Dawkins and her husband, John T., of Meridian; two grandchildren, Michael Dawkins and his wife, Katherine, of Madison, and Rick Dawkins of Jackson; three great-grandchildren, Katie, Molly and Pete Dawkins; two sisters, Virginia Pearl Stuckey of Marion and Lucille Feinstein of Dallas; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Mike Dawkins, Rick Dawkins, Walter Griffin, Phillip Chisolm, Arthur Weaver and Marion Riley.
Visitation will be held today from 3 p.m.-5 p.m. at the funeral home.
