Kimberly S. Williams of Meridian and Carl A. Fair of Starkville were united in marriage on Friday, Sept. 28, 2001, at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Berea, Ohio. The Rev. Thomas J. Henderson officiated at the small intimate ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Lawrence and Queenie Williams of Bailey, Judge and Debra McCarter and Carl Trainer of Starkville.
Grandparents of the bride are Lue Sherrod of Bailey and the late Rev. John Sherrod; Jerlean H. Williams of Jackson and the late John A. Williams Sr.
The bridegroom is the grandson of Jessie Mae Fair of Starkville.
The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Christopher Williams of Meridian.
Maid of honor was Kimberly Hampton of Collinsville. Ro'Darius "Joey" Williams served as ring bearer.
A reception was held at the couple's home in Middleburg Heights, Ohio, following the ceremony. It was hosted by the bride's mother.
