Services for Rose Mary Townsend were held Friday at Highland Baptist Church with the Revs. Carl White and Hal Bates officiating. Burial was in Oddfellows Cemetery in Quitman with Stephens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Townsend, 61, of Collinsville, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2001, in Meridian. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Townsend and a daughter, Pam Townsend, both of Collinsville; a son, Richard Townsend and his wife, Sherry, two grandchildren, Mary Kathryn Townsend and John Peyton Townsend, all of Senatobia; three sisters, Anne Waller of Quitman, Betty Bonner of Grenada and Nancy Waller of Madison; and a brother, John Waldrup of Hattiesburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John C. Waldrup and Mary Moore Waldrup.
Pallbearers were Doug Neal, Jim McCay, Tony Mills, Elwood Vick, Charlie Smith, Leonard Cobb and Bobby Joe Griffin.
Honorary pallbearers were the deacons of Highland Baptist Church.

Graveside services for Daisy M. Collins will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Pentecostal Memorial Garden Cemetery in Russell with Elder Tisdale officiating. Berry and Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Collins, 68, of Meridian, died Friday, Oct. 26, 2001, at Riley Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, Henry Collins Jr. of Meridian; seven daughters, Betty Collins, Lula Williams, Diane Porter, Patricia Hudson, Brenda Collins and Lucille Brewster, all of Meridian, and L. Kay Thornton of Rowlett, Texas; four sons, Leslie Collins and Larry Collins, both of Meridian, Aaron Collins of Atlanta and Marcus Terrell Collins of State Line; two sisters, Genell Hughes and Katie Mae McClelland and a brother, Willie McClelland, all of Meridian; 24 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 7 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
