Dallas Lisa Brazile, formerly of Collinsville, and James McNeill Moore Jr. of Lilburn, Ga., were united in the sacrament of holy matrimony on Saturday, Aug. 11, 2001, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Meridian. The Rev. Elvin Sunds was the celebrant of the nuptial mass.
Parents of the couple are Mike and Margaret Brazile of Jacksonville, Fla., formerly of Collinsville, and James and Mary Francis Moore of Lilburn.
Grandparents of the bride are Juanita Martinez of Trinidad, Colo., and the late Ezekiel Martinez; Charlene Brazile of Canon City, Colo. and the late Vance Brazile.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Lawrence and Edith Montano of Charleston, S.C., the late Adelmo Montano and Polly Moore and the late John W. Moore Jr. of Rock Hill, S.C.
Music for the evening ceremony was provided by Barry Germany, organist.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless satin mock two-piece gown enhanced by a embroidered and scattered pearl waistline over a box pleat skirt which fell into a chapel-length train. Her veil of tulle was trimmed in satin and held in place by a comb of pearls. She carried a bouquet of white roses and baby breath and wore a single strand pearl choker belonging to the bridegroom's grandmother.
Maid of honor was Kelly Bernazza of Marietta, Ga. Bridesmaids were Kolbi Cumbo of Atlanta and Sonja Hurst of Fort Meyers, Fla.
Flower girls were Madison Brazile and Mollie Brazile, cousins of the bride of Los Alamos, N.M.
Best man was Peter Connor of Newmarket, N.H. Groomsmen were Daniel Forester of Lilburn and Daniel Saunders of Tallahassee, Fla. Ring bearers were Nicholas Ewing and John Robert Kennedy both of Decatur, Ga. Ushers were Mikey Brazile, brother of the bride, and Joe Moore, brother of the bridegroom.
Following the ceremony, a reception and dance was held in St. Patrick's Family Life Center. Assisting at the guest book and gift table was Lauren Davis of Albany, Ga.
Assisting at the reception were aunts of the bride, Sue Baumgartner, Renee Brazile and Marge Espinoza. Leading the Grand March during the reception was Vivian Montoya of Avondale, Colo., cousin of the bride, and John Martinez of Pueblo, Colo., uncle and Godfather of the bride.
On the eve of the wedding, a rehearsal dinner was hosted by the bridegroom's parents at D.T. Grinders. The bride's mother hosted a bridesmaids luncheon at O'Charley's on Saturday afternoon.
After a honeymoon in the Bahamas, the couple resides in Woodbridge, Va.
