West Lauderdale – Running back Carlessio Blanks had 30 carries for 303 yards, two touchdowns, and an intercepted pass returned for a touchdown in the Knight's 35-14 win over Carthage Friday night. "He's really been carrying us the last couple of weeks," said head coach Stan McCain.
Clarkdale – Running back Quinn Moffite played a big part in the Bulldog's 50-6 win over William Sullivan Friday night with three touchdowns including a 40 yarder and a 38 yarder.
Southeast – Running back Travis Reed scored two touchdowns including a 45 yarder in the Tiger's 26-13 to Choctaw Central Friday night. "He had one of his best rushing games of the season," said head coach Dwane Taylor.
Meridian – Running back Fred Patton led the Wildcat's rushing attack in their 27-13 loss to Oak Grove Friday night. Patton had 60 yards on the ground.
Lamar – Wide receiver/linebacker Zach Moore led the Raider's passing game with three receptions for 60 yards and played hard on defense in their 19-10 loss to Manchester Friday night.
Northeast – Quarterback Rod Smith scored the lone touchdown for the Trojans in their 35-8 loss to Quitman Friday night on a 14 yard pass to Paul Tate.
