Mrs. Wire, 96, of Meridian, died Monday, Nov. 5, 2001, in her home. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include two daughters, Dot DuPau of Meridian and Louise Williams of Muleshoe, Texas; two granddaughters, Julie Burns and Annette Watson, both of Amarillo, Texas, a grandson, Roger Williams of Muleshoe; and several great-grandsons; special family, Mary I. Smith of Meridian; his loving care-givers, Becky Nash and Teresa La Biche of Meridian; and several nieces, great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family requests memorials be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church or King's Daughters and Sons Rest Home.
Pallbearers will be members of the Knights of Columbus.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at the church with a prayer service at 7 p.m.

Services for Robert H. "Bob" Jordan will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Christ Community Church with the Rev. Lane Busbee officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Jordan, 69, of Meridian, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a member of Christ Community Church. He retired from the U.S. Navy with 20 years of service. He was a decorated veteran of the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. Mr. Jordan was also retired from Mississippi State University, where he worked as a veteran's counselor. He had also served as a bailiff at the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department.
Survivors include two daughters, Deborah Hime and her husband, Joseph Jr., of Meridian and Sandra Killen and her husband, John III, of Virginia Beach, Va.; a son, John Jordan and his wife, Sabrina, of Meridian; grandchildren, April Killen, Don Killen, Amanda Henderson, Joseph Hime III, Kevin Jordan, Holly Covas, Sarah Jordan and Ashley Jordan; great-grandchildren, Angelica Jordan and Kristen Henderson; and a special friend, Myrtle Helmly of Meridian.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Anna Jordan.
Pallbearers will be family members.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Graveside services for Patty Michelle Martin will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Pentecostal Memorial Garden Cemetery in Russell. Berry and Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Martin, 36, of Meridian, died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2001, in her home.
Survivors include her mother, Lottie Mae Knott Martin and a sister, Shelia V. Martin Bates and her husband, the Rev. Jerome Bates, all of Meridian; and one niece.
She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Martin.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Noah L. Williams will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at St. Peter AME Church with the Rev. Jimmy Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Williams, 62, of Meridian, died Friday, Nov. 2, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include three sisters, Rose Graham and Kim Battiste and her husband, Robert, all of Flint, Mich., and Marilyn Graham Young of Baton Rouge, La.; six brothers, Tim Wiley and his wife, Lula, Charles Wiley and his wife, Mary, Ricky Graham, Michael Graham, Randy Graham and his wife, Ora, and Eddie Graham, all of Meridian; two sisters, Ann Terrell and her husband, Sandy, and Helen Williams and her husband, Robert, and a brother, Earl Graham, all of Flint.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Liley Marie Wiley Graham and three brothers.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 7 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
