Thursday: The St. Paul's Chamber Series continues Thursday at the Parish Hall at St. Paul's Episcopal Church.

Saturday: The Meridian Symphony Orchestra at MCC's Ivy Hall: The Trumpet Shall Sound. The featured music will be: Handel, Haydn and Beethovan. Charles Gates is the featured artist. The program starts at 8 p.m. For more information, call 693-2224.
Saturday: The 32nd Annual Church of the Mediator will hosts its annual barbecue. All proceeds from this event go to local charities. Pork or beef barbecue plates are available at $6. There will be a bake sale and children's activities. Eat in or take-out available. Delivery is available for 5 or more plates.
