The island of Maui, Hawaii was the setting for the marriage of Kelly Yancey McCay of Meridian and Christopher Thomas Richburg of Tupelo. The ceremony was held on Sunday, Oct. 7, 2001, with the Rev. Gary Thornton officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Richard Alan Porter of Tupelo, Gerald Rankin McCay of Meridian and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Harold Richburg of Tupelo.
Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Rolland Leslie Yancey and the late Mr. and Mrs. Dorsey Hugh McCay, all of Sardis.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are the late Mr. and Mrs. Presley Lee, Mrs. Joe Richburg and the late Mr. Richburg, all of Manning, S.C.
The bride wore a white strapless silk satin gown with a dropped waistline and enhanced with an envelope back. The back of the gown and train were in ice blue.
After a honeymoon in Maui, the couple were honored with a reception at the Tupelo Country Club in Belden on Oct. 19.
They reside in Tupelo were Kelly is a pharmaceutical sales representative with Schering-Plough and Chris is a sales representative with Regal Chemical.
