Holiday closings

Here is a look at holiday closings for Thanksgiving week:
Kemper, Lauderdale and Newton counties: All county offices will be closed Thursday and Friday.
Decatur, DeKalb, Meridian, Newton, Quitman and Union: All city offices will be closed Thursday and Friday.
Public schools: Lauderdale County and Meridian public schools will be closed Wednesday through Friday.
Community colleges: Meridian Community College will be closed Wednesday through Sunday, East Central Community College will be closed Wednesday through Friday and East Mississippi Community College will be closed today through Friday.
University: Mississippi State University-Meridian Campus will be closed Thursday and Friday; the building and computer labs will be open from 7 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday.
Garbage pick-up: Waste Management will not collect trash in Meridian on Thursday; workers will resume their normal schedule Friday.
