Southern Breeze Gallery, located in Highland Village Shopping Complex in Jackson, is featuring works of art by Meridian artist Charlie Busler.
A special showing of Busler's works was scheduled by the gallery more than a year ago. Busler has been working on the collection for about 10 months and has produced 37 works in oil on canvas and paper for the exhibit. Busler said that a show collection must have unity and harmony and the works were selected from a larger body of paintings he produced. The show has been titled "Balance: Observation, Illusion and Form."
The art will be on display through Dec. 1. A public reception will be held Sunday from 1 p.m.-5 p.m.
Busler's works has been sold to clients as far away as Oregon, Illinois, Texas and Louisiana.
