RICHARD E. LOCKARD
LAUREL Graveside services for Richard E. Lockard will be held today at 11 a.m. at Magnolia Cemetery in Meridian. Memory Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Lockard, 89, died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2001, in Laurel. He was born in Meridian, son of Mr. and Mrs. George T. Lockard, but had resided in Laurel for many years. After graduating from Meridian High School he served in the military. After serving his country, Mr. Lockard was employed with The Office Supply Company until his retirement. He was a member of First Trinity Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include three nieces, Mrs. T.C. Fuller of Laurel, Patricia Sanders and Mrs. Leonard Shannon of Meridian; a nephew, Dr. Gilbert Pyle of Victoria, Texas; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
IDA MAE WALLACE
PHILADELPHIA Services for Ida Mae Wallace will be held today at 2 p.m. at Linwood Baptist Church with the Rev. Jeff Mann officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with McClain-Hays Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Wallace, 67, of Union, died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2001, at Laird Hospital.
Survivors include four daughters, Shelley Ann Cox of Lucedale, Dainett Sue Bailey and Deborah Kay Peoples, both of Brandon, and Ethyl Elaine Johnston of Vancleave; two sons, Russell Walter Wallace of Union and Thomas James Wallace of Vancleave; a sister, Rose Barnett of Vancleave; a brother, Roland Eaken of Columbus, Ohio; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home of Newton for LaNeil Chesney, 77, of Euless, Texas, who died Friday, Nov. 23, 2001, at Harris Methodist Hospital in Bedford, Texas.
Arrangements were incomplete at James F. Webb Funeral Home for Paul Mabry, 88, of Meridian, who died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
