Fast-breaking Lady Rams
The Kemper Academy girls basketball team has used a high-scoring offense to break out to a 6-3 start on the young season.
Kemper Academy is averaging 59 points per game. The Lady Rams have scored at least 53 points in all nine of their games.
They have beaten the Lamar Lady Raiders twice (64-41 and 55-36). Eevn in losses, Kemper has been putting up the points. Against Academy power Leake, the Lady Rams scored 57 in a close, two-point loss.
On Tuesday night, Kemper went to 6-3 with a 53-32 romp past Central Academy of Macon. Kayla Mosley and Libby Myers are two of the reason behind the high-scoring ways of the Lady Rams. Mosley pumped in 16 points and Myers had 12 in Central victory.

Football players to help Noxubee
Noxubee County is off to a slow 0-4 start but a lot that is due to the team playing without most of its roster because of the Tigers' successful football season.
Noxubee Head Coach Willie Triplett said back in early November when his club visited Meridian that he was without eight players.
Nove of their four losses have been close. But things should change since Noxubee was knocked out of the football playoffs in the second round.
Look for a full compliment of Tigers to be on hand when Meridian pays a visit to Macon on Dec. 11. The Tigers will also be a participant in the Meridian Classic on Dec. 13-15.

Louisville not hurting
Louisville made it to the third round of the 4A football playoffs but that success hasn't hampered the basketball team. The Wildcats are off to a 6-1 start following Tuesday night's win against Winona.
Louisville owns impressive wins over West Point (89-34) and Wingfield (54-53). The lone loss was against Neshoba Central 54-53.
On Friday, the team takes on the Starkville Yellow Jackets. On Eec. 6-8 will be the Wildcat Classic in Louisville.
