Memorial services for Jo Beth "JB" Hawkins will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Lauderdale.
She was a graduate of the University of Mississippi and attended Vanderbilt University. She also did voluntary work for ADA and was a member of the Meridian Transit Authority Board.
Survivors include her mother, Alice Joyce Hawkins; a stepson and his wife, Jade and Marlyne Anderson; a brother, Dr. Harold W. Hawkins and his wife, Irene; and four nephews, three aunts and an uncle.
Visitation will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at the fellowship hall. Dinner will be held at 12:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall.
PAULINE STEWART
PHILADELPHIA Services for Pauline Stewart will be held today at 2 p.m. at John E. Stephens Chapel with the Rev. Irvin Mooney officiating. Burial will be in Cedarlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Stewart, 80, of Meridian, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2001, at Riley Hospital. She was born July 7, 1921, and had been a resident of Riley Nursing Center.
Survivors include a daughter, Clarice Williamson of Meridian; a son, Carson Ray Stewart of Chunky; and a brother, Johnny Smith of Yakima, Wash.; 16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-niece.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Stewart; sons, Kenneth and William Stewart; a daughter, Kathy James; and a granddaughter, Rhonda Stewart.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Williamson, Jeremy Windham, Eugene Stewart, Justin Stewart, Charles Adam Windham and Tommy Williamson.
DAN CARLISLE
Services for Dan Carlisle will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Spring Hill Baptist Church in Kewanee with the Rev. Randolph Hopkins officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery with Berry &Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Carlisle, 99, of Anniston, Ala., died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2001, at Regional Medical Center in Anniston.
Survivors include two sons, the Rev. Elijah Carlisle of Mobile, Ala., and Dan Jr. Carlisle of Cincinnati; five daughters, Mary Wallace of Mobile, Margie Leavings of Detroit, Junnie C. Hall of Anniston, Ora Danzy of Detroit and Bertha Lofton of Los Angeles; a sister, Violet Kelly of Meridian; and a brother, Flynn Carlisle of Cleveland.
Visitation will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the church.
PAULINE TOOLE
Services for Pauline Toole will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Springhill Baptist Church in Kewanee with the Rev. Randolph Hopkins officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Clark's Memorial Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Toole, 79, of Toomsuba, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2001, at Riley Nursing Center.
Survivors include two sisters, Rossetta Moss and Lula Brown, both of Toomsuba.
Visitation will be Sunday from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Retired
Services for John C. Miller will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Miller, 78, of Meridian, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for David J. Clark, 69, of Marion, who died Friday, Nov. 30, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
