PHILADELPHIA Graveside services for R.J. Comans will be held today at 11 a.m. at Antioch Baptist Cemetery in Leake County with the Rev. Wilson D. Hughes officiating. John E. Stephens Funeral Service Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Comans, 65, of Carthage, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2001, at Leake Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include his mother, Ruby Comans of Newton; three sisters, Lois Whatley of Greenwood, Polly Brown of Carthage and Shirley Stacey of Baton Rouge, La.; two brothers, Clyde Comans and Jimmy Comans of Meridian.
ROBERT E. SMOOT

Services for Robert E. Smoot will be held today at 1 p.m. at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home with the Revs. Anthony Brown and Roderick Steele officiating. Burial will be in Galilee Cemetery.
Mr. Smoot, 51, of Meridian, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2001, at Riley Hospital.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Rancher, a sister, Annie Grace, and a brother, the Rev. Anthony Brown, all of Meridian.
He was preceded in death by his father.
MARY GLEN MULHOLLAND

Philadelphia Services for Mary Glen Mulholland will be held today at 2 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Mack Alford and Ken Mulholland officiating. Burial will be in Cooks Chapel Cemetery.
Miss Mulholland, 79, of Philadelphia, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2001, at Neshoba County General Hospital.
Survivors include two nieces, Jackie Adkins and Jenny Williams, both of Ashland, Ky.; two nephews, Ken Mulholland of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Jack Ruggles Jr. of Flatwoods, Ky.; a great-niece, Lynn Wheeler of Ashland; a great-nephew, Anthony Adkins of Nicholasville, Ky.; and a great-great-nephew, Christian Wheeler of Ashland.
VENNIE WATSON

UNION Services for Vennie Watson will be held today at 2 p.m. at Milling Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Rusty Walton officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Watson, 99, of Meridian, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2001, at Beverly HealthCare of Broadmoor.
Survivors include a brother, Oliver Lee Goforth and his wife, Johnny, of Little Rock, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm Watson.
Visitation will be today one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
VARDAMAN ALLEN HENDRIX

PHILADELPHIA Services for Vardaman Allen Hendrix will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Trinity Baptist Church with the Revs. Dr. Wayne Hill and Duaine Morgan officiating. Burial will be in Beatline Cemetery in Neshoba County with McClain-Hays Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hendrix, 67, of Philadelphia, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2001, in his home.
Survivors include his wife, Jacquelyn Hendrix of Philadelphia; two daughters, Janice Annette Williams of Philadelphia and Amy Hendrix Stewart of Hattiesburg; a sister, Ramona Thorne of Decatur; two brothers, Johnnie A. Hendrix of Philadelphia and R.J. "Jack" Hendrix of Tucson, Ariz.; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jeff Hendrix.
Visitation will be today from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Houston L. Boler will be Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Ed Saunders and George Chatham officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. Boler, 77, of Meridian, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2001, in his home. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the South Pacific. He served many years as a baseball coach with the Lions Club Baseball.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Boler of Meridian; three sons, Jack Boler and his wife, Kay, of Birmingham, Ala., Donald Boler and his wife, Jacque, of Morristown, Tenn., and Howard Boler and his wife, Crystal, of Meridian; a brother, Woody Jones and his wife, Debbie, of Brandon; a sister, Shirley Stringer of Moss Point; grandchildren, Stephanie Menees and her husband, Jeremy, Chris Boler, Bo Boler, Derik Boler, Kimberly Ashley Boler and Misti Boler; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Boler; and his mother, Eathel Jones.
The family requests memorials be made to Druid Hills United Methodist Church.
Pallbearers will be Derik Boler, Bo Boler, Chris Boler, Jeremy Menees, Tony Pompelia and Hank Stringer.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

GULF SHORES, Ala. Graveside services for C. O'Neal Walker will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Park Hill Cemetery in Columbus, Ga. Baldwin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Walker, 95, of Bon Secour, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2001.
Survivors include two daughters, Jacqueline W. Hines of Bon Secour and Pamela Carmen of Andrews, N.C.; a sister, Dehlia Walker Webster of Phoenix City; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for Sarah Anderson will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Mt. Araat Cemetery in Scooba. Latimer Metropolitan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Anderson, 96, of Scooba, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
PAULINE AVERY MULLENS

MACON Services for Pauline Avery Mullens will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Raggy Ragsdale officiating. Burial will be in Oddfellows Cemetery with Cockrell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Mullens, 83, of Macon, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2001, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus.
Survivors include three sons, David Mullens of Baton Rouge, La., Richard Mullens of Daphne, Ala., and Doug Mullens of Jackson; a sister, Evelyn Slay of Jackson; two brothers, Cody Avery and Hurley Avery of Macon; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Shelton Mullens.
The family requests memorials be made to First United Methodist Church of Macon.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 7 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Arrangements were incomplete at James F. Webb Funeral Home of Newton for James D. Williams, 72, of Bossier City, La., who died Friday, Nov. 30, 2001, at Merrill Gardens Nursing Center in Bossier City.
