PHILADELPHIA Police here recovered a car on Monday used in a weekend armed robbery at Sonic Drive-In, but the two robbers remain at large.
Capt. David Edwards of the Philadelphia Police Department said two black men entered the business at 231 East Beacon St. at about 11:40 p.m. Saturday.
Edwards said the car was abandoned late Saturday night or Sunday morning in a car dealership lot in Philadelphia, where police recovered it Monday.
One of the suspects is described as "not very tall" and stocky, weighing about 150 pounds. The other is about 6 feet tall and heavyset. Both wore white stockings over their faces, Edwards said.
Anyone with information about these men or the case should call the Philadelphia Police Department at 656-2131.
