GILBERTOWN, Ala. Graveside services for Marissa De Coody will be held today at 10 a.m. at Bougaloosa Cemetery with the Rev. Mitchell Presley officiating. Phillips Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Infant Coody, who was stillborn, died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her parents, Tony DeWyatt Coody and Cynthia Danielle Roberts Coody of Butler; a brother, Benjamin Wyatt Coody of Butler; maternal grandparents, Toxie and Pegg Williams and Wayne and Debbie Roberts; and paternal grandparents, Benjamin "Pete" and Sarah Coody.
JUANITA SMITH ANTHONY

MACON Services for Juanita Smith Anthony will be held today at 11 a.m. at Cockrell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Glenn Miller officiating. Burial will be in Beth Eden Cemetery in Winston County.
Mrs. Anthony, 95, of Brooksville, died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2001, at Winston County Nursing Home in Louisville.
Survivors include two daughters, Edith D. Routon and Annye Morgan Richie of Jacksonville, Fla.; a son, Robert Anthony of Brooksville; a sister, Etta Kate Perkins of Laurel; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Harold Anthony in 1963.
The family requests memorials be made to Hospice South, 250 Canal Place, Philadelphia, MS 39350.
MARY DEARING

Services for Mary Dearing will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Marion United Methodist Church with the Revs. Allen Dearing and Eddie Holt officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery, near Vancleave, at 4 p.m. on Saturday. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Dearing, 56, of Marion, died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2001, in Marion. She was active in church, a volunteer chaplain at Harrison County jail and Parchman Prison.
Survivors include her husband, the Rev. Allen Dearing of Marion; and a brother, John Treese of Biloxi.
She was preceded in death by her parents, the Rev. Thomas and Lois Treese.
The family requests memorials be made to Marion United Methodist Church Ukraine Mission Team.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Currie, Jack Nolan, Brozon Miles, Jeff Anderson, Ken Joyner and Rick Joyner.
Honorary pallbearers will be all United Methodist Church ministers.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home and 30 minutes prior to the service at the church.
DURVARD GANUS
GILBERTOWN, Ala. Services for Durvard Ganus will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Aquilla Methodist Church with the Rev. Roger Carlisle officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Phillips Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Ganus, 88, of Eight Mile, died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2001 in Eight Mile.
Survivors include a brother, Jay Floyd Ganus of Fairhope and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time at the church.
BERNICE KEELING SHAW
VALDOSTA, Ga. Services for Bernice Keeling Shaw will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with the Revs. Bob Willis and Murrell Bennett officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Shaw, 73, of Valdosta, died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2001, at South Georgia Medical Center. Formerly of Meridian, she has been a resident of Valdosta for the past 13 years. Born to the late Clayton and Florence Griffin Keeling, she was retired from the clerk of the court's office in Meridian and was a member of Northside Baptist Church in Valdosta.
Survivors include two daughters, Debbie Harris and her husband Jerry, of Madison, Fla., and Sharon Leslie and her husband, Dewayne, of Pinetta, Fla.; a sister, Lucille Magee and her husband, Howard, of Gainesville, Fla.; a brother, Willie Keeling of Pinetta; five grandchildren and their spouses, Lynn and Michael Hanners of Pinetta, Amy and Steven Ratliff of Madison, Tammy Leslie of Pinetta, Josh and Amber Harris of Cherry Lake, Fla., and Kevin Leslie of Pinetta; two great-grandchildren, Ethan Ratliff of Madison and Jacob Hanners of Pinetta; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Shara Shaw of Valdosta, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, E.D. Shaw.
Visitation will be today from 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
VASHTI SPELL BRUNSON

Services for Vashti Spell Brunson will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Union Baptist Church with the Rev. John Edwards officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Brunson, 97, of Meridian, died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2001, in Enterprise. She was a member of Union Baptist Church.
Survivors include a brother, Lester Spell Sr. and a nephew, Lester Spell Jr. and his wife, Sandra, all of Richland; a great-nephew, Jason Spell; a great-niece, Katie Spell; a niece, Alfreda Spell of Jackson; a son, Billy Rodger Williams and his wife, Barbara, granddaughters, Vanessa Williams Moore and her husband, Tim, Shelia Williams Graham and her husband, Leon, all of Meridian; great-grandchildren, Adam Moore and Vashti Graham.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Brunson and a sister-in-law, Alfreda Spell.
Pallbearers will be Bill Fontaine, Wayne Henson, C.W. McLemore, Lester Spell, Everett Webster, Ralph Williams and R.E. Williams.
Visitation will be today from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home and 30 minutes prior to the service at the church.
