What makes our communities work?

You are invited to submit a story, letter or column to the "Community" section of The Meridian Star's reader-written Profile edition.
The theme, "Fabric of America," is about the resurgence of national pride in troubled times but it is not necessarily about the terrorist attacks in New York and Washington.
We are more interested in stories about the small things that pull us together as families, communities, towns and cities. We want memories of great teachers, volunteer projects, good neighbors, military service, work, Little League and Sunday school. The possibilities are endless.
Write about what cements the fabric of America. Write about who were are as a nation.
