Enterprise takes two tight wins over Clarkdale

ENTERPRISE Cory Boggan and his Enterprise Bulldogs dunked Clarkdale 84-75 Monday night at the Enterprise gym.
In a game that was thought to be a one-or-two point decision turned into a nine-point win for the home team.

Boggan was an amazing 15-of-19 from the free throw line, and he added a crowd-pleasing dunk, as he led the Bulldogs in scoring with 33 points.
Clarkdale got in foul trouble early in the game, and had to bench some key players, opening the door for the homestanding Bulldogs.
Enterprise jumped out to an early 16-13 led in the first quarter, then outscored Clarkdale 21-15 in the second quarter to sport a 35-28 halftime lead.
Clarkdale made a one-point comeback in the third quarter, as they outscored the Bulldogs of Enterprise 24-23, however, Enterprise would retaliate.
Enterprise scored 24 points in the final quarter to close the deal with the visiting Bulldogs of Clarkdale.
The Enterprise Bulldogs were led in scoring by Boggan with 31, Mitchell Burns with 17, and Don Moore with 12 points.
The Clarkdale Bulldogs were led in scoring by Bryant Gaddis with 20, Kirksey with 19, and Brandon Mabry with 17 points.

The 6-10 Clarkdale Lady Bulldogs dropped the one-point decision to the 5-12 youthful Lady Bulldogs of Enterprise Monday night.
The EHS Lady Bulldogs scored 13 points in the first quarter to take a 13-9 lead over the CHS Lady Bulldogs.
Clarkdale showed somewhat of a comeback, as it outscored Enterprise 10-6 in the second quarter to knot the score at 19-19 at halftime.
In a slow offensive third period, only 13 points were scored, but Clarkdale got the upper hand, as it scored seven compared to six for Enterprise.
However in the final period, the EHS Lady Bulldogs took over by out scoring Clarkdale 15-13. Teela McBride led the way for Enterprise with 18 points, as Kacey Jimmerson added 10.
The CHS Lady Bulldogs were led in scoring by Felisha Kirksey as she dropped 16 points for the Lady Bulldogs.
Enterprise stands at 5-12 on the year, and will host Southeast Lauderdale on Jan. 3.
