Services for Carolyn L. Herrod will be held Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Meadows officiating. Burial will be in Long Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Herrod, 61, of Meridian, died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Long Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Othel L. Herrod, a son, Darren D. Herrod, a sister, Patricia Robinson and her husband, Billy, all of Meridian; two brothers, Ricky Stewart and his wife, Sharon, of Fayetteville, Ga., and James Stewart and his wife, Peggy, of Meridian; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carlton and Mable Stewart; and a daughter, Lori Ann Herrod.
Pallbearers will be Leo Hatcher, Billy Robinson, Donald Carter, Danny Bailey, Thomas Williams and Sonny Hamner.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

DEKALB Services for Milton Person will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Green Hill Baptist Church in Toomsuba with the Revs. E. McDonald and L. Hill officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery in Toomsuba with E.E. McDonald Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Person, 67, of Meridian, died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2001, at the University Medical Center in Jackson.
Survivors include six daughters, Sadie Mapson and her husband, Andrew, of East Point, Mich., Janis Johnson and her husband, Greg, of Detroit, Mildred Cureton and her husband, Robert, of Nashville, Julie Partlow and her husband, Manchild, of Redford, Mich., Connie Alele, Helen Ruffin, Dianne Rodriquez and her husband, Angel, all of Detroit; two sons, James Person and Walter Armstrong and his wife, Ella, both of Detroit; three sisters, Emma Sims and her husband, Tom, of Meridian, Lucille Jimmerson and her husband, Ivory Lee, of Moss Point and Julia Walk of Meridian; 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by two siblings.
Visitation will be Thursday two hours prior to the service at the church.

Graveside services for Robert "Buddy" White will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Pine Springs Southern Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Phillip Williams officiating. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. White, 58, of Meridian, died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2001, in his home. He served in the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam and attended Pine Springs Southern Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Nicki White, two daughters, Deanna Johnston and her husband, John, and Tammy Zackary and her husband, Scott, all of Meridian; a son, Rob White and his wife, Chasity, of Stonewall; six grandchildren, Justin, Sommer, Cody, Zack, Lil Rob and Bailey; three sisters, Iva Odom, Gary Ann Joiner and Jean Shelby, all of Meridian; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother and two sisters.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Odom, Ricky Odom, Buck Michel, Joey Shelby, James Joiner and Leonard Joiner.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

PHILADELPHIA Services for J.P. Molpus Jr. will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Stanley Barnett officiating. Burial will be in Cooks Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Molpus, 91, of Philadelphia, died Monday, Dec. 24, 2001, at Neshoba County Nursing Home. He was born and raised in Neshoba County and made his home in Flint, Mich., from 1954-72, when he moved back to Neshoba County. He was a member of Sardis Baptist Church where he served as deacon and taught Sunday school. He was a member of the United Auto Workers Union Local 599.
Survivors include his wife, Mary F. Molpus of Philadelphia; two daughters, Elizabeth Malner and her husband, Ed, of DeKalb and Annie Bostwick and her husband, Tom, of Flint; three sons, Paul E. Molpus and his wife, Dortha, of Flint, Don M. Molpus and his wife, Roselle, of Raymond, and Howard Molpus and his wife, Barbara, of Philadelphia; a sister, Vesta Chisolm and a brother, Norman Molpus, both of Philadelphia; 15 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons.
Visitation will be Thursday 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
