Services for Julia Ann Daniel will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church with the Revs. Jackie Streback and Lynn Chesney officiating. Burial will be in Providence Cemetery with Stephens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Daniel, 85, of the Duffee Community, died Friday, Dec. 28, 2001, in her home. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, James E. Daniel of Chunky; two daughters, Wanda Todd and her husband, Jerry, of Hickory and Patricia Wells and her husband, Patrick, of Little Rock; and a granddaughter, Christy Marie Butts of Meridian.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nilon Daniel.
Pallbearers will be Charles Alexander, Eugene Alexander, David Alexander, Danny Alexander, Steve Krase and George Dean.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
JEWELL FUTCH
FOREST Services for Jewell Futch will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Ott and Lee Funeral Home with the Revs. Bob Smith and Dr. David Rives officiating. Burial will be in Conehatta Cemetery.
Mrs. Futch, 86, of Conehatta, died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital. She was a lifelong resident of Conehatta and had been a resident of the Mississippi Care Center in Morton for the past five years. She was a member of Conehatta Baptist Church and very active in her community and her church.
Survivors include three daughters, Lozell Pace and Peggy Parkes and her husband, James K., all of Conehatta, and Pat May and her husband, Buddy, of Decatur; four grandchildren, Dwain Ivey of Conehatta, Melanie Harris of Decatur, Robert A. May Jr. of Cary, N.C., and Suzanne Weaver of Decatur; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons.
The family requests memorials be made to the Mississippi Care Center, P.O. Box 459, Morton, MS 39117.
BEN FRANK CARPENTER

Services for Ben Frank Carpenter will be held Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at Chunky Baptist Church with the Rev. Wayne Campbell officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Carpenter, 86, of Chunky, died Friday, Dec. 28, 2001, in Meridian.
LUCIUS JOSEPH PORTER

ENTERPRISE Services for Lucius Joseph Porter will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Pilgrim Hill United Methodist Church with the Rev. Carl Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery. Enterprise Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Porter, 77, of Meridian, died Friday, Dec. 28, 2001, at his home.
Survivors include a son, Don V. Porter of Stone Mountain, Ga.; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Susie Porter.
Visitation will be Sunday from 4 p.m.-5 p.m. at the funeral home.
OTIS STRAIGHT

Services for Otis Straight will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Berry &Gardner Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Goodwin officiating. Burial will be in Pack Cemetery.
Mr. Straight, 61, of Lauderdale, died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include a sister, Lancie Nelson of Lauderdale; two brothers, Johnny Straight of Cleveland, Ohio and Tom Albert Straight of Gary, Ind.; and his common-law wife, Susie Johnson of Lauderdale.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fletcher and Roseanna Straight and two sisters.
Visitation will be Sunday from 5 p.m.-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
LISA Y. ALLEN

Services for Lisa Y. Allen will be held Monday at 11:30 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Malcolm Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Allen, 32, of Meridian, died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2001, at Riley Hospital. She was a graduate of Meridian High School, a homemaker and member of Northcrest Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Lester Allen of Meridian; a daughter, Jessica Allen; a son, Johnathan Allen; her mother, Kay Furline and her husband, Pete, of Meridian; a step brother, Tony Furline and his wife, Lisa, of Quitman; four nephews; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Buddy Young.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2 p.m.-5 p.m. at the funeral home.
