Rebecca Ann Peterson and Houston Dwight Jacobs were married Saturday, Nov. 10, 2001, at 4 p.m. in Trinity, Ala., with the Rev. Bill Freeman officiating. The ceremony was held at the home of Jason and Meschelle Thomas, sister of the bridegroom.
Parents of the couple are Bill and Jo Anne Freeman of Collinsville, and Dwight and Karen Jacobs of Lawrence.
Grandparents of the bride are Elton and Dorothy Landrum of Laurel, and Robert and Mary Jane Peterson of Mellen, Wis.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Myrtle Jacobs Prince of Pelahatchie and the late Amos Jacobs, and the late Elton and Opal Ledlow.
The bride wore a strapless, satin gown embossed with velvet roses and accented with a tulle shawl. She carried a nosegay of white roses.
Matron of honor was Kara Lank of Meridian. Best man was Vince Parker of Clarksdale.
A reception was held at the Thomas home. The couple resides in Virginia Beach, Va.
