BLACKSHEAR, Ga. Services for Sally Lucille Chaney Boswell were held Friday at Mitchell Chapel at Baptist Village. Graveside services were Saturday in Magnolia Cemetery in Meridian, Miss., with Smith Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Boswell, 82, died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2002, at Baptist Village in Waycross, Ga. She was a native of Causeyville, but had lived most of her life in Meridian before moving to Waycross in 1998. Mrs. Boswell was a retired bookkeeper from Merchants and Farmers Bank in Meridian (now Deposit Guaranty). She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Waycross, but was formerly a longtime member of Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Church in Meridian for more than 50 years.
Survivors include a son who serves as chaplain of the Baptist Village, the Rev. Bob Hutcherson and his wife, Carolyn, of Waycross; two granddaughters, Kim Hutcherson of Atlanta and Kristin Hutcherson of Alexandria, Va.; a great-granddaughter, Elaena Hutcherson of Alexandria; and several other relatives.
She was preceded in death by a son, Don Hutcherson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Baptist Village Foundation.
Honorary pallbearers were members of the Mary Martha Sunday School Class of Central Baptist Church of Waycross.

UNION Services for Paul C. Everett will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Milling Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tod Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Congregational Cemetery.
Mr. Everett, 67, of Decatur, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2002, at Riley Hospital.
Survivors include two brothers, James Amos Everett of Biloxi and R.L. "Shorty" Everett of Decatur.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for W.E. Bill Tinnin, 76, of Marion, who died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2002, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
