Feb. 15 a date to remember
MACJC basketball coaches will be allowed to watch and recruit players outside their respective districts on Feb. 15. This is the first year for the MACJC to institute its new recruiting rules that in basketball allow six boys and six girls to be placed on a protected list by their local juco. Other than those six, the rest are fair game for the rest of the state which should be quite interesting in the more highly-populated areas such as Hinds County and the Gulf Coast.
