PHILADELPHIA Services for Gladys Dees Cheek will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Herb Boyles officiating. Burial will be in Bluff Springs Cemetery in DeKalb.
Mrs. Cheek, 79, of Preston, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2002, at Heartfelt Hospice in Meridian.
Survivors include a son, William D. Cheek of Philadelphia; a sister, Doris Barnett of Peachtree City, Ga.; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
MARY ALICE MARTIN

Services for Mary Alice Martin will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Follis officiating. Private burial services will be at Meehan Cemetery.
Mrs. Martin, 90, of Meridian, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2002, at Queen City Nursing Center. She was the former administrator at Golden Sunset Nursing Home.
Survivors include three daughters, Floy Hurst and her husband, J.P., of Hickory, Joyce Barnette and her husband, Jim, of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Alvalene Middlebrooks and her husband, Nick, of Jacksonville, Fla.; a son, Charlie Martin of Hernando; grandchildren, Leonard Hurst, Karen Huey, Brad Brown, Brian Brown and Kyle Barnette; great-grandchildren, Jamie Hurst, Andrew Brown, Laura Brown, Stephen Brown, David Brown, Alissa Brown, Sarah Brown and Ashleigh Brown; and a great-great-grandchild, Kaitlyn Hurst.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Maggie Pittman; and her husband, Charlie Alton Martin.
Visitation will be today 6 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for the Rev. P.F. Windham will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Collinsville with the Rev. H.C. Rush officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with E.E. McDonald Funeral Home of DeKalb in charge of arrangements.
Rev. Windham, 86, of Collinsville, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2002, at Heartfelt Hospice.
Survivors include his wife, Hollie K. Windham; two daughters, Essie Moncrief and her husband, Clarence, of Collinsville, Laronda Moore and her husband, Derick, of Meridian; two sons, Johnny Windham and his wife, Mary, and Elijah Windham, all of Collinsville; 15 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Alfonzo Windham and his wife, Rosie, of Rosamond, Calif., Zora Windham and his wife, Mildred, of Detroit, and Ensley Windham and his wife, Tina, of Anderson, Ind.; several other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by two children and four siblings.
Visitation will be Friday 2:30 p.m.-7 p.m. and Saturday 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. at E.E. McDonald Community Chapel in Meridian.
ISLAND SPENCER

Services for Island Spencer will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Collinsville with the Rev. John Griggs officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Spencer, 73, of Collinsville, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2002, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Ethel Mae Spencer of Collinsville; a daughter, Nettie Green of Lakeland, Fla.; a son, Larry D. Spencer of Collinsville; a brother, Dan Spencer and his wife, Lovie, of Detroit; three God-daughters, Sharon Hopson, Gloria Jennings and Geraldine Sillimon, all of Collinsville; three God-sons, Willie Spencer of Collinsville, Randy Spencer of Gulfport and Lee Lewis of Meridian; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be Friday 7 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Lizzie Franklin will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at St. Mary Baptist Church in Shubuta with the Rev. Curtis Walker officiating. Burial will be in Cokes Chapel Cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Franklin, 86, of Shubuta, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2002, at H.C. Watkins Memorial Hospital in Quitman.
Survivors include her husband, Sellie Franklin of Shubuta; a son, Percy Gray Sr. of Chicago; and a daughter, Alice Allen of Atlanta.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son.
Visitation will be Friday 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the church.
