Warriors swap 15 for 15

DECATUR East Central Community College had 15 players from its 6-4 2001 football team sign with four-year schools on Wednesday. Before the day was out, Warrior head coach Terry Underwood and his staff had signed 15 new members for the 2002 team.
Underwood's newcomers include offensive lineman Chris Hamm (6-2, 280) and running back/defensive back Raymond Youngblood (6-1, 180) from Carthage; linebacker Martez Hopkins (6-3, 180), offensive lineman Rhyne Thompson (6-2, 280), and defensive back Leron Yarbrough (6-1, 180) from Louisville; linebacker Marcus Cleveland (6-1, 230) from Morton; wide receiver Bobby Lindsey (6-3, 180) and offensive lineman Michael Wright (6-3, 230) from Newton; running back/defensive back Kenshay Hunter (5-10, 175), running back/defensive back Cedric Love (5-11, 180), linebacker Curtis Spivey (6-1, 230), and defensive back Blake Peebles (6-1, 170) from Philadelphia; defensive back Chungkil Page (5-10, 185) from Tuscaloosa (Ala.) County; linebacker Clevester McKee (6-0, 185) from Scott Central; and wide receiver Van Wilson (6-2, 180) from West Lauderdale.
In addition, the Warriors also received a commitment from defensive lineman Henry Smith (6-3, 280) from Aliceville, Ala. Smith signed with the University of Alabama on Wednesday, but is slated to ink with the Warriors on Friday.
