Karen Tyler Cunard of Monticello, Ga., and Glenn David Brown Jr. of Snellville, Ga., were married Saturday, Dec. 8, 2001, in Monticello.
Parents of the couple are Kathy Tyler and Eddie Tyler, both of Monticello, Mr. and Mrs. George McCormick Jr. of Houston, Texas, and Mr. and Mrs. Glenn D. Brown of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bride are Mrs. Ray Tyler and the late Mr. Tyler, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Carpenter.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mrs. Rudolph Matzner and the late Mr. Matzner, Mrs. Cecil Brown and the late Mr. Brown.
The bride wore a floor-length strapless burgundy gown, complemented with matching cape. She was attended by her daughter, Claire.
A reception was held at the home of Tricia Armistead of Monticello following the ceremony. Assisting at the reception were Kathy Mercer and Angela Stone.
After a honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas, the couple resides in the Atlanta area.
