Mr. and Mrs. Jerry R. Reynolds of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelly Elaine, to David Elmore, son of Jerry F. Elmore of Coolidge, Ariz., and Judy M. Bethune of Arlington, Texas.
The wedding will be held Sunday, March 24, 2002, at 2 p.m. in Marietta, Ga.
Miss Reynolds is the granddaughter of Margie Freeman and the late Kelly Freeman; Elaine Reynolds and the late Rev. Truly Reynolds, all of Meridian.
The bride-elect is a graduate of the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science in Columbus and the University of the South in Sewanee, Tenn. She received a degree in English and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She is currently teaching in Marietta.
Mr. Elmore is the grandson of Evelyn Willshire of Arlington, and the late Mr. David Edwards of San Diego, Calif., and the late Frank Elmore and Bernice Elmore of San Diego.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Sam Houston High School and the University of Texas at Arlington, where he received a degree in journalism. He is currently a writer of health articles for national magazines.
A reception will follow the ceremony.
