YOUTH BASEBALL
Clarkdale Registration
Clarkdale summer league Dixie Youth baseball registration will be held this Saturday and March 2 at the Clarkdale summer league field from 8 a.m. until noon or just stop by Wrangler Furniture.
Please bring a copy of the birth certificate. Registration fee is $55 for the first child and $10 for each additional child. For more information, call Darren Graham at 482-5904.
EMBA Registration
The East Mississippi Baseball Association will be holding a joint registration on Saturday from 10 am until 2 pm. at the Northeast High School Cafeteria for the following ball clubs: Northeast, Lauderdale, and Toomsuba.

NMO Registration
The North Meridian Optimist Baseball Association will be holding registration for youth baseball ages 9-14 starting this Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Phil Hardin Park.
Registration will continue Monday through Friday, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The last day for registration is Saturday, March 2 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All registration will be held at Phil Hardin Park.
If you are unable to register at the above times, registration forms can be picked up at the Meridian Parks and Recreation Office or at Judge Little Sporting Goods.

RACING
Causeyville Raceway
Causeyville Raceway will kick off the 2002 Go-Kart racing season Saturday with the running of the fourth-annual Ice Bowl.
Karts and drivers from the Meridian and surrounding area will be competing for cash prizes. All classes will be paying $300 to win so the racing action should be exciting.
Gates open at 9 a.m. Saturday with racing getting under way at 12:30 p.m. Concessions will be available. General admission is $5. Children 7-12 $3; 6 &under free. No alcoholic beverages allowed.
Causeyville Raceway is located two miles south of Causeyville on the Causey-Clarke Rd. For more information, call 644-3535.
SOFTBALL TOURNAMENTS
Sammie Davidson Complex
The Sammie Davidson Complex will host the Second Annual $500 Grand Slam Giveaway Saturday. It will be a ASA six homers &out tournament.

Hattiesburg-Tatum Park
The Mississippi USSSA Kick-Off Classic Invitation Softball Tournament will be held on Saturday at Tatum Park Softball Complex in Hattiesburg. It is the USSSA sanctioned Regional qualifier with USSSA Core 47 Worth balls only. The men's A/B will be six homers &out and men's C/D will be two homers &out.
