PHILADELPHIA Services for Margaret "Peggy" Watkins will be today at 11 a.m. at First Assembly of God Church in Carthage with the Rev. Ed Shoemaker officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with McClain-Hays Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Watkins, 81, of Elba, Ala., died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2002, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, Ala.
Survivors include a daughter, Donna M. Marquardt of Kouts, Ind.; a daughter-in-law, Lucy M. Watkins of Elba; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Watkins.
Visitation will be at 10 a.m. today at the church.

NEWTON Services for Emily Lindsey McCormick will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Rodney Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Hickory Cemetery.
Mrs. McCormick, 85, of Brandon, formerly of Hero, died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2002, at Hospice Ministries of Ridgeland.
Survivors include a son, Newton McCormick Jr. and his wife, Bonnie, of Brandon; two stepsons, Robert McCormick of Laguna Niquel, Calif., and David McCormick of Pascagoula; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Newton McCormick Sr.; a son, Frank McCormick; and her parents, Wallace and Maggie Gilmer Lindsey Sr.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

UNION Services for Cornelia Peterson will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian of Union with the Rev. Chris Shelton officiating. Burial will be in Union City Cemetery with Milling Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Peterson, 52, of Union, died Thursday, Feb. 21, 2002.
Survivors include her three sons, Chip and Jason Peterson of Starkville; and Chad Peterson and his wife, Margaret, of Sturgis; a sister, Floyd Hitch of Lakeland; and two grandchildren, Madelynn and Manly Peterson of Sturgis.
Pallbearers will be Jack and John Barnett, Joe Caperton, David French, Jeff Holmes and Dale White. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Alexander and Dr. Briseno.
REV. NORMAN RAY CHAPMAN
GILBERTOWN, Ala. Services for the Rev. Norman Ray Chapman will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Gilbertown Cemetery.
Mr. Chapman, 54, of Toxey, died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2002, in Waynesboro, Miss.
Survivors include two sons, the Rev. Lamar Chapman of Waynesboro and the Rev. Douglas R. Chapman of Gilbertown; a daughter, LaBona Shoemaker; brothers, Randall Chapman, Wendell Chapman and Tony Chapman, all of Gilbertown; sisters, Faye Hudson of Coffeeville, Joyce Turner of Needham, Lynette Daniels of Gilbertown and Shelia Bonner of Toxey; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
