KEMPER SPRINGS An anniversary celebration for the Rev. Robert Coats will be at 3 p.m. at Union Baptist Church.
The Rev. Bennie Hopkins of Brownridge Missionary Baptist Church, DeKalb, will be guest speaker.
THURSDAY
An appreciation service commemorating the 17th year of the Rev. Dennis E. Huggins Jr. as pastor of First Apostolic Church of West Meridian will begin and continue through Sunday.
Services will begin at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and will feature the Rev. Wilbert Brown of Baton Rouge as guest speaker. Service will begin at 4 p.m. Sunday and will feature the Rev. Mark Hibbett of Quitman as guest speaker. Local and area church choirs and soloists are encouraged to attend and render a selection.

Southern Heritage will be in concert March 9 at 7 p.m. at Bluff Springs Baptist Church.
NEWTON "Let No Man Despise Thy Youth" is the theme for Church of God's Youth Rally 2002. The three-day event will be March 15-17.
Service times and locations are: March 15, 7:30 p.m., Church of God, 325 Airport Road; March 16, 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m., Third New Hope District Building, Old Hickory Road; and March 17, 10 a.m., Third New Hope District Building, Old Hickory Road.
The rally will feature ministers and youth from Jackson; Macon, Ga.; Springfield, Ohio; Columbus, Ga.; and Memphis. Area churches and youth are encouraged to participate.

St. Luke Baptist Church's annual spring revival is slated for March 18-22. The Rev. Carlos Wilson, pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church, Hattiesburg, will be guest evangelist. Services will begin at 7:15 each evening.

CORINTH Christian recording artists Alicia Williamson and Kim Hill, along with speaker Kim Bolton, will lead the second annual Regional Women's Conference, April 5-6 at the Crossroads Arena.
Williamson, who resides in Mobile, will serve as keynote speaker for the two-day event. She has recently released the compact disc "Faithful Heart," and has partnered with numerous well-known ministries. Hill, who has recorded six albums and nine No. 1 singles, will lead praise and worship sessions both evenings. Bolton, guest speaker, will share her personal spiritual testimony.
The April 5 session will be from 5:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m. The conference will resume at 8 a.m. April 6 and will conclude at 3:30 p.m. Cost for registration is $40 before March 11, $50 afterward. The fee includes materials, continental breakfast and boxed lunch on April 6.

JACKSON The Daughters of Destiny's "Possessing the Inheritance" will be presented April 11-13 at Jackson Revival Center Church Inc.
Sponsored by the Rev. Dorothy Beard, co-pastor, and the Rev. Jennifer Baird, the event will feature the Rev. Dr. Claudette A. Copeland of New Creation Christian Fellowship; the Rev. Darlene Bishop, co-pastor of Solid Rock Church; and Vicki Yoh'e, musical guest.
A $75 registration fee is required; group rates available for eight or more. The registration deadline is April 1; seating is limited.

Way of the Cross, Way of Peace will take place April 13. The annual ecumenical witness of faith will begin at noon at the Lauderdale County Courthouse and will feature 14 stations at churches throughout the downtown area.
COLUMBUS The 12th Annual Spiritual Retreat of the Christian Women in Action of West Point will take place April 18-20 at the Plymouth Bluff Center.
Guest lecturers include the Rev. Sharon Spikner of Memphis, the Rev. Glenda Mays of Eupora and Artimese Stanton of Jackson.
