Rachael Claire Deen, left, was chosen Meridian Junior Miss 2003 and Sondra LeAnn Palmer was named Lauderdale County Junior Miss 2003 in the final night of local competition Saturday. Miss Deen is the daughter of Tim and Amy Deen and attends Meridian High School. Miss Palmer, daughter of Jimmy A. and Virgi W. Palmer, also attends Meridian High. They will next compete in the state Junior Miss program, scheduled for August at the Temple Theatre.
