Pro boxing returns to Frank Cochran Center

Boxing time is here again as McNeil Promotions presents Brawlin At The Frank', Saturday night at 7 pm.
This is the 12th event for McNeil Promotions, and fight promoter David McNeil has several dandies lined up.
On tap for the main event will be Aaron Norwood of Hattiesburg and Robert Terrell of McComb. They will fight it out for the Mississippi state super-middleweight championship.
Bo Skipper of Laurel will tie up against Paul Blount of Bogalusa, La.
The Irish Bull' Brad McNeil will tangle with Charles Ward of Jackson, Tenn.
McNeil will be stepping up into a different weight class in this fight, and promoter David McNeil says this will be a measuring stick for The Irish Bull.'
Also, Jeremy Rodriguez of Hammond, La. will make his pro debut here in Meridian when he steps in the ring to battle it out with Big' John Peters.
James Johnson from Shreveport, La. will battle it out with Antonio Adams from Laurel in the Welter Weight Division.
Michael The Boss' Moss will have his way with Phillip Hammac of Philadelphia.
Tickets are on sale now. You can contact David McNeil for more ticket information. Ticket prices are $10-$12 at the door, ringside $20, ringside tables $160, general tables $125, and table seats will be $15. Children eight and under will be admitted free of charge.
The fight card is subject to change without notice. "If someone hurts their hand, and they are unable to fight, I have to take them off the card, so they are subject to change," McNeil said. "You never know what might happen in this sport."
Do not miss out on the fun this Saturday night at the Frank Cochran Center. Doors will open at 6 pm, with the first fight scheduled for 7 pm.
