Kevin and Gift Rainey of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Leigh, to John Gregory Hodge, son of John and Lucia Hodge of Meridian.
The wedding will be held Saturday, May 25, 2002, at 6 p.m. at the Temple Theater in downtown Meridian.
Miss Rainey is the granddaughter of Bennie Campbell of Meridian and the late Margaret Campbell; Ken and Cheryl Rainey of Meridian; and Charles and Quida Perkins of Lauderdale.
The bride-elect is a graduate of West Lauderdale High School and is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing at the University of Southern Mississippi. She will graduate in the fall. Miss Rainey is employed with Radio Broadcasters.
Mr. Hodge is the grandson of Arthur and Maxine Hodge of Clinton; Evangeline Barnette of Meridian and the late Travis Barnette; and Paquita Calvadores of Samar, Philippines and the late Gregorio Calvadores.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of West Lauderdale High School. He Hodge is employed by Lowe's of Meridian.
A reception will be held at the Temple Theater Ballroom following the ceremony. Family and friends are invited to attend.
