Casteel Gallery to open new exhibit

Artist and college professor Soon EE Ngoh describes her paintings as works that touch on relationships and conflicts.
Meridian area residents will be able to take a closer look at Ngoh's work when an exhibit of her art opens Sunday from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. at the Meridian Community College Casteel Gallery.
Ngoh is a Mississippi State University assistant professor of art. She holds a master's of fine arts in printmaking from the University of Massachusetts and a bachelor's degree in studio art from Smith College.
Her work has been exhibited in Alabama, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Louisiana, New York, Texas, Tennessee, Virginia and Wisconsin.
This year, she was included in the 5th Annual Juried Show at Gallery West Ltd. in Alexandria, Va., as well as the Drawing II International Internet Exhibition sponsored by the Period Gallery in Omaha, Neb.
The Casteel Gallery is in the foyer of the Todd Library on the Meridian Community College campus.
