Lamar/Oak Hill game moved
Today's baseball game between the Raiders of Lamar and Oak Hill Academy that was scheduled to be played at West Point has been moved to Lamar. The game between Lamar and Oak Hill on April 13 will be played at Oak Hill.

Clarkdale rolls past Stringer
Hitting leaders in Tuesday night's 11-0 romp past Stringer for the Clarkdale Lady Bulldogs included: JorDan Orr, Emily Howard and Ashley Satcher.
Orr was 3-for-3 with a triple. Howard, who tossed a no-hitter, also had three hits including a double and a triple. Satcher was 2-for-2.
Clarkdale is now 10-5-1 on the year.

Warriors-Wolves washed out
DECATUR East Central Community College's MACJC South Division baseball doubleheader with Copiah-Lincoln was rained out Wednesday with neither team scoring through 2 1/2 innings.
ECCC's Chris Comans had allowed only one hit, while Co-Lin's Derek Atkins had not been touched for a hit when rain made Jamie Clark Memorial Field unplayable. The Warriors loaded the bases in the bottom of the second before Atkins fanned Joey Holcomb to end the inning.
The coaches were slated to determine a makeup date this morning.
In Monday's action, ECCC split a pair of games with the Mississippi College junior varsity squad at Clinton.
The Choctaws won the opener 9-8. Lewis Bradford had two homers and a single for ECCC, while Dee Hornesburger had three singles. Justin Darby had a triple with Holcomb and Jarrod Vaughn both adding a double.
ECCC took a 10-4 win in the nightcap. Darby had three singles with Jake Nester hitting a single and a double. William Mars had a pair of singles. Tyler Rogers had a double.
The Warriors, 4-11, host Southwest Mississippi Saturday in a 1 p.m. South Division doubleheader.

Lamar School takes two tennis wins
Lamar School edged out Heritage Academy on Monday by a 5-4 score.
The deciding match came in mixed doubles where Kate Archer and J. Grantham downed Heritage's Harper Ferguson and Gray Flora 6-1, 6-2.
Wade Covington won in No. 1 boys singles beating Wes Hill 6-0. 6-4. The Raiders' No. 1 boys doubles team of Shanton Lauderdale and Frank Marascalco beat Heritage's Clarke Bozeman and Lee Jolly 6-3, 6-3.
Lamar won both girls singles matches. Lisa Swartzfager won No. 1 over Blakeney Rader 6-1, 6-1. Sara Michelle Nicholson won her match by default.
The No. 2 girls doubles team of Cori Walters and Kristin Nicholson had a tough match falling 6-3, 4-6, 3-2 retired to Heritage's Catherine Bozemand and Carol Scarborough.
Heritage's other wins came in No. 2 boys (Charlie Wen over Brian Barham 6-0, 6-4); No. 2 doubles (James-Hammerbacher over Danny Russell and Jimmy Eppes 1-6, 7-5, 6-0); and No. 1 girls doubles (Wallace-Walters over Amy Swartfager-Kelsey Cobb 6-3, 6-4.
Lamar School downed Presbyterian Christian 8-2 in Tuesday tennis action. The Raiders won all six doubles matches to take the dual-match. No. 1 boys singles player Wade Covington won in straight sets over Liddell of PCS 6-0. 6-4.
Kalhmus and Rush defeated PCS's No. 1 doubles team 6-2, 6-1. Lauderdale and Marascalco downed PCS's No. 2 team 6-0, 6-2. J. Grantham and D. Russell won the No. 3 doubles in 6-2, 6-0. Katie Pearson got a win in No. 2 singles with a 6-2, 6-4 decision. Taking doubles matches were L. Swartzfager-M. Nicholson 8-1; A. Swartzfager-K. Cobb, 8-0; K. Archer-C. Waters, 6-0, 6-0.
