Two employees of Citizens National Bank, Pennie Luke and Simmetha Harvey, were recently honored with the bank's "Catch the Spirit" employee award. This award is presented quarterly to employees who have demonstrated superior customer service and loyalty to the Bank.
Luke is an administrative assistant in the bank's sales support department, and has been employed with the bank in a variety of positions since November 1989. She and her husband, Rick, have one son, Josh, 13.
Luke is an active member of the Staff Parent Organization of King's Academy and attends West Hills Baptist Church.
Harvey is a loan services representative at the North Meridian Banking Center. An employee of the bank since March 1999, Harvey has worked in various departments.
She has a 7-year-old son, Kendall Miller, and a 3-year-old daughter, Ebony Miller. Harvey attends 31st Avenue Baptist Church.
Amy Schrimpshire Jacob has been promoted to bank officer and branch sales manager of the North Hills branch of Union Planters Bank in Meridian.
Her responsibilities include overseeing and ensuring sales of new and existing business and the management and daily operation of the branch.
Jacob, who has three years of banking experience, held the position of financial sales representative prior to her promotion. She graduated from Meridian Community College and will be completing a bachelor's degree in business administration this year from Mississippi State University.
Jacob is active in the American Cancer Society, United Way and the March of Dimes.
