Lisa Kelly Branton and Joey Cramblitt, both of Meridian, were married Saturday, Jan. 5, 2002, at the Episcopal Church of the Mediator. The ceremony was performed by the Revs. Charles M. Deaton and Mike Dobrosky.
Parents of the couple are Patricia Moss Branton, Steve and Rhonda Cramblitt and Laura Reeves.
Grandparents of the bride are Jean Branton and the late Earl Branton, Bill and Eileen Moss and the late Virginia Moss.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Ellen Cramblitt and the late Charles Cramblitt Sr. and Jim and Joyce Reeves.
Given in marriage by a family friend, the bride wore a dress of white matte-satin which she designed and was handcrafted by Mrs. Ollie Sykes. The dress featured an Elizabethan style split train and was accentuated with pearl beading and garnet hued gems. The bride's head piece consisted of fresh and saltwater pearls, garnets and Swaroski crystals. Her veil had a border trim of white satin.
Christy B. Thrasher of Birmingham, Ala., served as matron of honor. Other attendants were Amy Warriner Morgan of Jackson, Jessica Dooley, Brandy Cramblitt and Joy Cramblitt, all of Meridian.
Jim Reeves of Meridian served as best man. Groomsmen were Steve Cramblitt, and Wesley Cramblitt of Butler, Ala., Daniel Thomas of Pascagoula, Erik Brown and Robert Carlisle, both of Meridian.
Jake Thrasher of Birmingham was ring bearer.
A reception was held at the church following the ceremony. Music was provided by Henry Granger. The rehearsal dinner and bridesmaids brunch were held at D.T. Grinder's.
After a honeymoon cruise to the Caribbean, the couple resides in Oxford.
