Mr. and Mrs. William Robert Williams of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Leslie Brooke, to Adam Parish Payne, son of Mr. and Mrs. Danny Keith Payne of Magee.
The wedding will be held Saturday, May 18, 2002, at 5 p.m. at Tate Baptist Church in Corinth.
Miss Williams is the granddaughter of Mrs. Telford Brooks Norman and the late Mr. Norman; Mrs. William Kennon Williams and the late Mr. Williams, all of Corinth.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Corinth High School and summa cum laude graduate of Mississippi State University with degree in marketing.
While attending MSU, she was a member of Chi Omega Sorority. Miss Williams is employed by Edwards Pharmaceuticals.
Mr. Payne is the grandson of Mrs. Ralph Cooper Humphreys of Brandon and the late Mr. Humphreys, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Parish Payne of Jackson.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Simpson Academy and received a degree in marketing from Mississippi State University.
Mr. Payne is employed by Anderson Merchandisers.
A reception will be held at Datan's Restaurant following the ceremony. Family and friends are invited to attend.
