Judith Coursey Crowson and Dr. Thomas Dewey Crowson of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Anne Coursey, to Larry Lee Britt II, son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Britt of Oxford.
The wedding will be held Saturday, June 1, 2002, at 6 p.m. at Central United Methodist Church in Meridian.
Miss Crowson is the granddaughter of Mrs. Dewey Ivan Crowson of Batesville and the late Mr. Crowson and the late Dr. and Mrs. Walter Mack Coursey of Raleigh.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Meridian High School and attended the University of Mississippi and New York University. She received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Mississippi State University.
While attending Ole Miss, she was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority.
Miss Crowson is employed by Clinton Public Schools as a fourth-grade language arts teacher.
Mr. Britt is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. T.C. Britt Jr. of Minter City, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hofer of Itta Bena.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Oxford High School and received a bachelor's degree in physics, graduating magna cum laude from the University of Mississippi.
While attending Ole Miss, he was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity.
Mr. Britt is a medical student at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
A reception will be held at Northwood Country Club following the ceremony.
