PHILADELPHIA Services for Clifton "Kitty" Cumberland will be held today at 2 p.m. at Bond Baptist Church with the Revs. Hubert Yates and Terry Hall officiating. Burial will be in Bond Cemetery. McClain-Hays Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Cumberland, 86, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, April 25, 2002, at Heartfelt Hospice in Meridian. He was a retired employee of U.S. Motors, a retired farmer and a veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie K. Cumberland; three sons, Ray Cumberland, Don Cumberland and Tim Cumberland, all of Philadelphia; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Avie Poe of Philadelphia and Elvie Burton of Ridgeland; and two brothers, Herbert Cumberland and Norman Cumberland, both of Philadelphia.

Services for Roger W. "Bill" Wright will be held today at 2 p.m. at Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. John Koch and Allen Dearing officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Methodist Cemetery in Kemper County.
Mr. Wright, 77, of Meridian, died Friday, April 26, 2002, at Guardian Angel Hospice. He was the retired owner of General Merchandise Store and a retired employee of General Box Co. He was a member of the Longstreet Masonic Lodge, 268 and a member of the Arkadelphia Baptist Church and the Mens Brotherhood of the church. Honorably discharged from the U.S. Army 3rd Battalion, 137th Infantry regiment, he served in Normandy, Northern France, Ardenne, Rhineland and Central Europe. He received the Victory Ribbon, the American Theatre Campaign Medal, the Service Medal with five bronze stars and a Purple Heart.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys Maddox Harbour Wright of Meridian; two daughters, Cathy Stephenson and her husband, Bob, and Linda Hosey all of Meridian; two sons, Roger Wright of Meridian and Robert Wright of Bailey; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Margie and Johnny Daniels of Meridian; and three stepchildren, Hal Harbour and Jackie Roberts and her husband, David, all of Meridian and Milton Harbour of DeKalb.
Visitation will be held prior to the service at the church.

DEKALB Services for Albirda "Holliday" Blakney will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in DeKalb with the Rev. Weldon Short officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with E.E. McDonald Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Blakney, 78, of Meridian, died Wednesday, April 24, 2002, at Guardian Angel Hospice of Marion.
Survivors include two daughters, Katie Neely and Dorothy Neely, both of Meridian; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Jean Thomas and Ina Seals, both of Douglas, Ga., and Maeodia McCullum and her husband, Peter, of Milwaukee; two brothers, Leo Holliday and his wife, Rosie, and Edward Holliday and his wife, Florene, all of DeKalb; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
Visitation will be held today from 7 p.m.-8 p.m. at E.E. McDonald Community Chapel in Meridian.

Mrs. Koen, 83, of Collierville, Tenn., died Thursday, April 25, 2002, at Collierville Health and Rehab Center.
Survivors include two daughters, Julia Langston of Collierville and Sherry Gail Stokes and her husband, Tom, of Silas.
Visitation will be held today from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Billie Ray Wash will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Sam J. Hull and Lannis May officiating. Burial will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
Mr. Wash, 72, of Scooba, died Thursday, April 25, 2002, at Carraway Hospital in Birmingham, Ala. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict and a longtime service manager for Sellers and Rick Justice automobile dealers.
Survivors include his wife, Jeane Craig Wash of Scooba; three daughters, Mary Ann DeSantis of Lady Lake, Fla., Nora Lynn Davis of Pensacola, Fla., and Terri C. Goss of Scooba; three sisters, Ruby Keyes Morrison, Blanche Guy and Snookie Knight, all of Laurel; one great-granddaughter, Alicia Aspiazu; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Nora Wash.
Pallbearers will be Ernie Watt, Bobby Miles, Pete Slay, Jerry Nelson, E.T. Mosley and Bruce Weems.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Watkins and members of the Sandy Ridge Blue Grass Association.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
