Air Force Airman Letitia L. Clark has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
During the six weeks of training, the airman studied the Air Force mission, organization and customs, performed drill and ceremony marches and received physical training and special training in human relations.
Airmen who complete basic training earn credits toward an associate degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Clark is the daughter of Barbara Clark of Meridian and a 2000 graduate of Meridian High School.
Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Demurtus R. Brown has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

Lewis is the son of Richard Lewis of Meridian and a 2001 graduate of Meridian High School.
Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Tasha M. Howell, daughter of Gailyn M. and John B. Howell of Collinsville, recently returned from a six-month deployment to the Mediterranean Sea and Arabian Gulf while serving aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Bataan, homeported in Norfolk, Va.
Howell was one of more than 10, 000 Atlantic Fleet Sailors and Marines aboard the ships of the USS Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Battle Group and USS Bataan Amphibious Ready Group that proudly participated in Operation Enduring Freedom.
While at sea, Howell's ship participated in the worldwide showing of solidarity Dec. 11 by playing the National Anthem at the same time it was being played at all military commands.
Howell is a 1997 graduate of Hoquiam High School and joined the Navy in December 1999.
