GOSPEL NIGHT The McKameys of Clinton, Tenn., perform Thursday night in front of a standing-room-only crowd at Northcrest Baptist Church. The concert was the first in the three-day Jimmie Rodgers Memorial Festival. Activities continue today and Friday, with concerts set for both nights.

Today
10 a.m.: Adult talent contest, Bonita Lakes Mall.
11 a.m.: Jimmie Rodgers memorial service, Oak Grove Cemetery.
Noon-until: The International Singing Brakeman's Association hosts a hospitality room, Best Western Motel, 2219 S. Frontage Road.
7:30 p.m.: Steve Forbert and the North Mississippi All-Stars, Singing Brakeman Park, $10.
Saturday
10 a.m.: Youth talent contest, Bonita Lakes Mall.
Noon-until: The International Singing Brakeman's Association hosts a hospitality room, Best Western Motel, 2219 S. Frontage Road.
7:30 p.m.: Grant's Ferry, followed by Confederate Railroad, Singing Brakeman Park, $10.
