Citing the need to spend more time with her family, Susan Fox-Smith has resigned as girls' basketball coach at Neshoba Central. She will remain at the school as a teacher and tennis coach.
Bill Smith took over the East Central Community College men's basketball program shortly after the 2001-02 school year began. The Smith family will move from Neshoba County to live on the ECCC campus in Decatur for the 2002-03 school year, making roughly a 60-mile round trip each day for Fox-Smith.
The Lady Rockets were 22-11 in Fox-Smith's one season as head coach after she moved up from assistant, replacing Smith.
