WAYNESBORO Services for Connie Mae Bullock will be held today at 2 p.m. at Freeman Funeral Home with the Revs. N.E. Hartshorn and Randy Cooley officiating. Burial will be in Hiwannee Cemetery.
Mrs. Bullock, 87, of Waynesboro, died Thursday, May 23, 2002, at Wayne County General Hospital.
Survivors include a daughter, Jean Rigney of Waynesboro; a brother, C.E. Weaver of Meridian; a sister, Vivian L. Mason of Shubuta; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Lucille Joyner will be held today at 2 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steve Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Church of God Cemetery in the Dixon Community.
Mrs. Joyner, 85, of Philadelphia, died Friday, May 24, 2002, in her home. She was owner and operator of Lucille's Beauty Shop for many years.
Survivors include her husband, Purvis Joyner of Philadelphia; three daughters, Judy Caverhill and Susan Joyner, both of Philadelphia and Jeri Barefoot of Snellville, Ga.; a son, Dale Joyner of Philadelphia; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Terry Richard Posey will be held today at 4 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Travis McManus officiating. Burial will be in Cedarlawn Cemetery.
Mr. Posey, 47, of Meridian, died Friday, May 24, 2002, at Riley Hospital in Meridian. He was a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Posey of Meridian; and two sons, Richard Chad Posey of Montevallo, Ala., and Trenton Marvin Posey of Meridian.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Claudine Posey.
JIMMIE EMERSON

Services for Jimmie Emerson will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Ridge Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. John Griggs officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Enterprise Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Emerson, 70, of Meridian, died Tuesday, May 21, 2002, in Meridian. He was a self-employed brick mason.
Survivors include his wife, Julia B. Williamson-Emerson of Meridian; five sons, Jimmie Emerson Jr. of Newellton, La., Carl Emerson, Kenney Emerson and his wife, Lisa, Louis Ray Emerson and his wife Johnnie Ray, and Kevin Troy Emerson and his wife, Juarrzie, all of Meridian; three daughters, Phyllis Johnson of Houston, Texas, Regina King of Quitman and Carolyn Emerson of Peoria, Ill.; four brothers, Albert Emerson and Henry Emerson, both of Meridian, Ray Emerson of Las Vegas and Wayne Emerson of Bailey; three sisters, Elois Ellis of Youngstown, Ohio, Doris Louis of Petersburg, Va., and Joyce Coleman of Compton, Calif.; 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ada Welch and Oscar Emerson.
Visitation will be today from 7 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

QUITMAN Services for Jo Ann Kirksey will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church in Quitman with the Rev. Advil McKenzie officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery. Berry &Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Kirksey, 60, of Quitman, died Tuesday, May 21, 2002, in her home. She was a retired United States Postal worker.
Survivors include two daughters, Diane Heyliger and Joan Kirksey, both of Bronx, N.Y.; a son, Mark Heyliger of Statesboro, Ga.; four sisters, Jerlean Kirksey of Quitman, Ora Ingram of Freehold, N.J., Betty House of Springfield, N.Y., and Della Jordan of Detroit; four brothers, Tillman Kirksey Jr., and Edward Kirksey, both of Hattiesburg, Monroe Kirksey of Quitman and Johnny Kirksey of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held today from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for George Henry Cummings Sr. will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
Mr. Cummings, 86, of Meridian, died Thursday, May 23, 2002, at his home. He was a retired engineering supervisor for the United States Postal Service and the recipient of numerous Outstanding Achievement Awards.
Survivors include a son, George H. Cummings Jr. and his wife, Patricia, of Bayonne, N.J.; a daughter, Barbara Nichols and her husband, Ed, of Holyoke, Mass.; his grandchildren, Babette Deering, Wendy Nichols, Adam Bradley Cummings and Justin Cummings; his great-grandchildren, Michael Deering, Jennifer Deering and Caitlin Deering; a sister, Alice Stewart; and two brothers, Paul Cummings and Roger Cummings.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen DeVilliere Cummings in 1984; and two sisters, Ola Lee Webb and Nettie Galyean.
Visitation will be held Monday from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
HUBERT I. ETHRIDGE
Services for Hubert I. Ethridge will be held Thursday at Pine Grove Church in the Martin Community. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Barham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Ethridge, 83, of Meridian, died Friday, May 24, 2002, in Covington, La.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Arrangements were incomplete at Barham Funeral Home for Victoria Irby Null, 71, of Lauderdale, who died Saturday, May 25, 2002, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
