Services for Gwendolyn M. Trawick will be held Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
Mrs. Trawick, 79, of Meridian, died Thursday, May 30, 2002, at her home.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
DOROTHY C. BRANTON
Services for Dorothy C. "Jean" Branton will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Bob Followell officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Branton, 76, of Meridian, died Thursday, May 30, 2002, at Riley Hospital. She was a mother and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her father, Marvin R. Calder of Magee; two sons, Larry Branton and his wife, Judy, of Azle, Texas; and Wayne Branton and his wife, Sophie, of Cordova, Texas; two daughters, Patty Hall and her husband, Hebo, of Dexter, Mo.; and Diann Crane and her husband, Jim Bo Crane of Meridian; a brother, Brian Calder of Magee; 10 grandchildren, Christy Thrasher, Lesia Cramblitt, Stacy Yalacki, Melisa Branton, Justin Branton, Bo Hall, Katie Hall, Angela Hall, Abby Crane and Alexa Crane; and three great-grandchildren, Jake Thrasher, Bryce Thrasher and Carter Yalacki.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Shelbe Earl Branton.
Pallbearers will be Bo Hall, Hebo Hall, Justin Branton, Robby Warren, Jim Bo Crane, Brian Mckee and Steven Reid.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the funeral home and 30 minutes prior to the service at the church.

DEKALB Services for Annie Lou Crawford will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Center Ridge Baptist Church in DeKalb, with the Rev. Albert Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Depot Hill Street Cemetery in DeKalb with E.E. McDonald Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Crawford, 85, formerly of DeKalb, died Monday, May 27, 2002, at Saint Vincent Medical Center in Staten Island, N.Y.
Survivors include her husband, Ennis Crawford of DeKalb; two daughters, Viola Wilson and her husband, David, of Staten Island, Creola Tapplar and her husband, Hudson of Gulfport; three sons, John J. Scott of Chicago, Lee Russell Scott of Meridian and Eugene Scott and his wife, Maggie, of Jackson; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; seven great-great- grandchildren; a sister, Rosetta White of Meridian; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by five children and seven siblings.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

GILBERTOWN, Ala. Services for Carl McHenry will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Boutwell officiating. Burial will be in Smith Cemetery.
Mr. McHenry, 54, of Gilbertown, died Wednesday, May 29, 2002, in Gilbertown.
Survivors include his ex-wife, Elsie Diamond McHenry Green of Gilbertown; sons Joseph McHenry and Leslie McHenry, both of Gilbertown; sisters, Barbara Coody of New Port, Ohio, and Kathy Coody of West Virginia; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Services for Bessie Boyd will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Taylor Wallace and Glenn Brister officiating. Burial will be in Enterprise Cemetery.
Mrs. Boyd, 100, of Enterprise, died Wednesday, May, 29, 2002 in Meridian. She was a member of Stonewall Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Dorothy Moore and her husband, Lamar, of Enterprise; a brother, Howard Boyd of North Port, Ala.; seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Goldman and Sara Elizabeth Phillips Goldman; four brothers, James, Johnny, Clarance and Arthur Goldman Sr.; and three sisters, Irene Hudson, Claudie Wilkins and Ethel Gunter.
Visitation will be today from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
BETTY JO CLAYBORNE
Services for Betty Joe Clayborne will be held Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at Mt. Salem Baptist Church in Preston with the Rev. Darryl Rush officiating. Burial will be in Chambers Cemetery in Preston with Clark's Memorial Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Clayborne, 47, of Preston, died Sunday, May 26, 2002, in her home.
Survivors include her mother, Louise Clayborne of Preston; two brothers, Clyde W. Clayborne of New Orleans and Elton Hayes and his wife, Renita, of St. Louis; two sisters, Tulita Elsayed and her husband, Ashraf, of New Orleans and Cathy Sonko, of Atlanta.
She was preceded in death by her father, Wilson Clayborne.
The family requests memorials be made to Clark's Memorial Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Saturday from 4 p.m.- 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
FRANK RAY FORBES
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. Services for Frank Ray Forbes were held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the First Assembly of God of North Little Rock with the Rev. Rod Loy officiating. Roller-Owens Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Forbes, 54, of Sherwood, formerly of Meridian, died Saturday, May 25, 2002, in his home. He was employed by Global Concepts Inc.
Survivors include his wife, Diane Forbes, of Sherwood; daughters, Dana Katherine, and Jan Rochelle; a son-in-law, Jamie Stewart and two granddaughters; sisters, Patsy McMillan and Alicia Price.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ray and Louise Forbes.
