Elizabeth Elaine "Lannie" Denham and Timothy Scott Kelly, both of Quitman, announce their engagement.
The wedding will be held Saturday, June 1, 2002, at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Quitman.
Parents of the couple are Aaron and Jean Denham of Linden, Ala., Dianne and J. K. Briggs of Scooba, and Tim and Rebecca Kelly of Quitman.
Miss Denham is the granddaughter of Carol Colston and the late Jeff Colston, Virgie Denham and the late J.P. Denham, all of Quitman, and the late Sonny and Margaret Richardson of Bailey.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Demopolis High School in Demopolis, Ala. She is employed at United Credit Corporation of Meridian.
Mr. Kelly is the grandson of Jimmy and Glynna Ivy, and Clyde and Geraldine Kelly, all of Quitman. He is the great-grandson of Lois Ivy and Alice Smith, both of Quitman.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Quitman High School. He is employed with Terminix International of Meridian.
A reception will be held at the church following the ceremony. Family and friends are invited to attend.
