Hester, Overby

Gerald and Kathy Hester of Russellville, Ala., announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Elizabeth, to David Brent Overby, son of David and Lena Overby of Enterprise.
The wedding will be Saturday, Sept. 7, 2002, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Tuscumbia, Ala.
Miss Hester is the granddaughter of the late Thomas Ernest Hester and the late Alma Hester, and Faris and Doris Taylor, all of Russellville, Ala.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Belgreen High School and received a bachelor's of business administration in marketing from the University of North Alabama.
While attending UNA, she was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority and La Grange Society. Miss Hester is employed by Principal Financial Group.
Mr. Overby is the grandson of Ernest Overby of Enterprise and the late Lillian Overby, and Carlis and Ruby Kufel of Quitman.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Enterprise High School and received a bachelor's degree in management and marketing from the University of North Alabama.
While attending UNA, he was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. Mr. Overby is employed by Johnson and Johnson.
A reception will be held at the church fellowship hall following the ceremony.
Formal invitations will be sent to out-of-town guests only.
