Lusby joins Meridian's Citizens National Bank
David S. Lusby has joined Citizens National Bank in Meridian as a senior vice president and will specialize in commercial lending at the Downtown Banking Centre.
Lusby comes to Citizens National from Bank Plus in Meridian, where he served as a senior vice president. He also has prior banking experience with Trustmark National Bank as a vice president of commercial lending and private banking.
A graduate of Mississippi State University, Lusby holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and is currently pursuing his MBA at MSU-Meridian Campus.
He is also a graduate of the LSU School of Banking of the South. He currently serves as treasurer of the Lauderdale County Chapter of Ducks Unlimited, and is involved with the Meridian Museum of Art and Meridian Little Theatre.
He and his wife, Anna, have two sons, Samuel David and Maxwell Walsh, who are ages five and three, respectively.
Tara Walker has joined Citizens National Bank in Meridian as an administrative assistant at the Downtown Banking Centre.
Walker comes to Citizens National from Bank Plus in Meridian, where she was employed since September 1998 and served as a senior customer service representative.
A 1998 graduate of the University of Mississippi, Walker received a bachelor of science degree in pharmaceutical sciences. She and her husband, Jason, are members of St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
Active in the community, she is the current treasurer of the Meridian Symphony League.
Ken Purvis, Rush Health Systems' corporate compliance officer, has been certified as a Professional in Health Care Compliance by the Health Care Compliance Association, a national organization.
Purvis, who began his career with Rush in 1969 as a physical therapist, has served in several capacities since, including administrative roles through the years.
After attaining a specified number of continuing
education hours, he became eligible to test for the new certification, which he successfully completed in July.
Purvis and his wife, Betty, have three children and four grandchildren.
